The Institute for Enterprise Issues to host ACCA IFRS seminar in St Petersburg. The seminar «New in IFRS – Practicalities of Reporting on Financial Instruments in Accordance with IFRS» will be held on Thursday 10th February.

Sergey Moderov, head of International Financial Reporting Department at Kreston member firm The Institute for Enterprise Issues and Quality controller at the Institute of Professional Auditors of Russia, will be speaking. The event, which is held annually and which attracts large attendance from the industry, is again being organised by the Institute for Enterprise Issues and ACCA.
The agenda will include:
• Recent changes in IFRS and how this will influence financial reporting in 2011
• IFRS 9: Financial Instruments – including financial assets, financial liabilities, hedge accounting
• IFRS 10 Consolidated Financial Statements. What is new to be included in consolidated financial statements
• Fair value views at IASB. Hierarchy of fair value
